O'Riordan

Tom and Chris O’Riordan are a rare breed, a unique combination you only seldomly find wandering this earth. Brothers by blood, but brothers in music too. Whilst growing up together in a house filled to the brim with music a divine taste for the unknown, the obscure, the forgotten was formed. A distinguished taste which still is a token for their sophisticated but unparalleled sound.Aside from finding them head first in the dusty bins of record shops all around Europe, searching for obscure oddities, they made their mark on the contemporary Dutch music scene. They both are founding members of independent online radio station Maxi Radio and the well known disco-only event series Discotuin. And whilst Chris recently opened his own record shop Offbeat Records in Rotterdam and runs the ACHTERBAN parties, Tom is head of program at underground culture venue Wibar.

Both fully focussed and invested in music they made a sacred pledge to dedicate their lives to music, in all beautiful forms and languages it showcases herself. It is as if they are bound by faith to spread their gospel, consisting of 80’s Synth-pop, 90's House, Jazz-funk, Belgian New Beat, worldly disco grooves and additional oddities, to all ears out there willing to take a dive into the great uncharted depths with them. So far they have managed to reach countless eager ears in almost all major Dutch cities and are now bound on a journey outwards, reaching the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany and France already.
