LAZA is a Producer/DJ hailing from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Being inspired by the warm harmonies, melodies and rhythm found in the musical spectrum, he developed an ever-growing interest in music from a young age. His selections and productions are defined by a sincere yet experimental sound, rooted in House and Electronic Music with shades of all sorts of genres, not conforming to just one sound. It’s all about the feeling it ignites and the energy it sparks. Having released music on Visions Recordings, United Identities, Darker Than Wax, Rhythm Section and INI Movement, LAZA has garnered support with the likes of Carista, Lefto, Kléo, Dean Chew, Ruby Savage, Shy One & Lea Lisa amongst others.
His latest release “Tomorrow” (EP) on Visions Recordings is a more club-focussed project and finally reveals the rawer edges to the artist’s palette. LAZA has played at clubs such as Radio Radio, Doka, SISSI’s and Multipla. One of the highlights from last year being his own “Chronicles Of Lazaland” club night at SISSI’s sharing the decks with Zopelar (BR). A night named after his monthly residency at Operator Radio, in Rotterdam. His monthly show demonstrates the versatility of his sound even further. Now for over three years taking you on a two hour journey every time, through the eternal musical playground that is “Chronicles Of Lazaland”. He’s had the honour to host guests with the likes of Suze Ijó, Zopelar, Kléo, Dean Chew (SG). The monthly guests accentuate not only his sonic palette, but also his values for exchange, community and pure love for music that he shares with them and the listener. It’s an ongoing journey and he really just loves the process of it all.
