After spending most of his teenage life on the dancefloor, Tom Ruijg started djing in 2007 and immediately turned heads in the Amsterdam scene. Three years later, he made an acclaimed debut as a producer on Dylan Hermelijn's (2000 and One) and Sandy Huner's Bangbang! imprint, followed by releases on quality labels like Karat, Hot Waves and Soweso. With a production style drawn from a myriad of influences that blur the boundaries between raw, energetic house and dubby, oldschool techno, Tom's music evolves in different directions with every new project he undertakes. As a DJ Tom played all over Europe, taking his rusted house en techno frequencies to places like Concrete, Watergate and Sonar. He has a proven track record in his home country as well, having performed at most of the topnotch Dutch festivals like Awakenings, Mysteryland, Voltt and Welcome To the Future, where he debuted his live set in 2010.
