Nina Ashley Bach (Anak Rojak)

My name is Nina, also known as Anak Rojak (mixed child in Bahasa Melayu) I am a loud, proud, emotional mixed woman who collects pieces from my life to curate an inviting space for others to ponder and connect. As a workshop facilitator, artist and performer, I explore themes of identity, belonging, womanhood and community from an ever-evolving decolonized perspective. My academic background in art history and colonial history has helped shape parts of my storytelling and mediation. Through conversation, writing and or movement, i try to hone in on how you move through the world, how sharing and listening can give space to move gracefully.
