Jaya Latina

Jaya Latina is a 19-year-old DJ based in Rotterdam. What began with playing as part of the collective GIRLS soon developed into shaping his own sound as a solo DJ. His sets are rooted in heavy bass genres such as hardgroove, ghetto tech and hard house, infused with energetic percussion influences from Caribbean and Latin American music. Over the past 1.5 years, both GIRLS and Jaya Latina have grown rapidly, making a strong mark on the Rotterdam underground scene. He has performed at Network Festival, Keep Hush, Fugazi, Dutch Design Week, Operator Radio and has hosted multiple sold-out events under GIRLS and Bubbling Rave x Bokoesam. With this, GIRLS has established themselves as a defining presence in Rotterdam’s electronic music scene.
