DJ Westfa

DJ Westfa (he/him) is a Black queer DJ and cultural curator known for his emotionally resonant sets rooted in house, tribal, percussion, and deeper journeys. With Surinamese heritage and a deep spiritual connection to music, he has become a well experienced presence in Amsterdam and Berlin’s nightlife. He is the founder of Our Society, a platform for community, music, and cultural exchange, booked artists like Theo Parrish and Moodymann, and expanded into radio, panels, and fundraisers. Besides being a resident at Refuge Worldwide, Westfa has played renowned venues and events including Badaboum, RAUM, Tresor, OHM, Shelter, Resident Advisor, Melt Festival and Is Burning - to name a few. Westfa’s work is more than DJing—it’s cultural storytelling, healing, and creating space for the Black queer roots and future of dance music.
