Charlie Jermyn (or charlie seadog) is a writer from Dublin living in Amsterdam. After spending his early twenties in Hong Kong, London and Milan, Charlie ended up in the Netherlands. For the past five years, his fascination with the lowlands has seen him traipsing through the polders and visiting all twelve Dutch provinces. This inspired him to write his debut book ‘The Boy, The Bucket and The Persistent Tide’, documenting many of his adventures, published by Bog Bodies Press. Charlie presents a monthly radio show at Stranded FM Utrecht called ‘More Poetry is Needed.’ Throughout his past 20 hours of radio, he has covered the music and poetry of Van Morrison’s ‘Summertime in England’, John Cooper Clarke, the country of Greece, Autumn, Motorways, the Sonnet and Derek Jarman’s Garden, and much more in between all of that.
